What triggered it

SUBSCRIPTION_REQUIRED is similar to PAYMENT_REQUIRED, but more specific: you have a paid plan, but not the plan this action belongs to.

Common cases:

• Minecraft Java server actions on an account that only has the custom Discord bot plan.
• AI helper actions on an account that has a bot or a server, but not the AI helper + bot + server plan.
• Luanti — the AI helper works in Luanti as part of the AI helper + bot + server plan.

Different from PAYMENT_REQUIRED

PAYMENT_REQUIRED = “you need a paid plan.” SUBSCRIPTION_REQUIRED = “you need this specific plan.” If you’re already paying and still see this, the action belongs to a different plan.

What to try

1. Check which plan you’re on. Visit billing — your current plan is at the top of the page.

2. Compare the plans on Plans & pricing: a custom Discord bot (US$15/mo), a Minecraft Java server (US$10/mo), or the AI helper with a bot and a server included (US$25/mo). Billed monthly, cancel anytime.

3. Add or change the plan. Click Change plan on the billing page. Stripe handles proration — you only pay the difference for the rest of the cycle.
