SYS-002 — RATE_LIMITED

What triggered it

VibeCord rate-limits some endpoints per-account to prevent accidental loops or abuse:

• Channel creation (10 / minute)
• Project creation (a few per minute)
• Some admin and billing actions

If you hit one of these limits, you see SYS-002 — RATE_LIMITED.

This is per-account, not platform-wide. Different from CODEX_RATE_LIMITED, which is the upstream model provider rate-limiting all of VibeCord briefly.

Usually self-inflicted

SYS-002 most often fires from a script or a stuck “click 30 times to refresh” reflex. If you weren’t doing that, see “When to contact support” below.

What to try

1. Wait a minute, retry. Per-account rate limits use short rolling windows.

2. Stop the script / spam click. If you wrote a script that hits VibeCord in a loop, stop it. The rate limit will clear within a minute.

3. Refresh the page. Sometimes a stuck UI re-fires a request — refreshing breaks the loop.

When to contact support

If you’re seeing SYS-002 on actions you only did once (e.g., you tried to create one project and got rate-limited immediately):

• That’s a bug — drop a screenshot in Discord #bug-reports
